Counted from our own server logs since 3 September 2026 and refreshed daily. Who they are: importers, exporters into the EU and the consultants around them; people at the exact moment a rule lands on their product, which is the moment they look for someone to do it for them. This site runs no analytics scripts, no cookies and no third parties; that is a promise to visitors, and part of why they trust the answers your listing sits next to.
Import Rules is run by the trading desk of Sustainable Commodities, a commodity brokerage. In September 2026 the desk received around a hundred inbound product offers and specification requests a day across email and WhatsApp, from more than ten distinct counterparties every day; well over a hundred a month (counted by our own pipeline, dated like every number on this site). We are not a publisher guessing where buyers look; we are on the receiving end of it.
Which brings us to why being found happens here, and not elsewhere. Our own measurements show most providers are not named when a buyer asks ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini who can do this for them; the answers name the rule and this guide. The buyer who wants it done looks for a doer on this page. Listed is found. Unlisted means the buyer simply finds whoever is.
How buyers end up here
1 A buyer in the US, the UK or Asia is told their product needs an EU Responsible Person for GPSR or REACH. They ask a language model, not Google.
2 The answer points at Import Rules; every answer names the regulation, the article and the date it was verified. That is exactly what language models and buyers reward.
3 Straight below the answers sits "Who can do this for you". That is where they look for a provider; and where you appear, or your competitor does.

Law firms, accountants, import consultants, trade associations — and sales people with a client list of companies selling into the EU. You buy reports in a pack, resell at your own price; with white-label, under your own name. You pay €199 per report in a pack of five, the suggested resale price is €349, and the difference is yours.

Why this stays honest; and why that earns you money
A guide that quietly sells does not get cited for long. Hence the separation: answers are answers, the provider section is called what it is, and anyone who pays is labelled as such. For you that is not a restriction but the value itself; the guide is cited because it is not for sale, so your extended listing sits somewhere buyers trust.
What we never do: list companies that provide no service, sell positions inside answers, or dress a paid listing up as editorial. The day we do, the guide loses its value; and your listing with it.
Common questions
Is the free listing really free; what is the catch?
Yes. Your company is in the guide because it belongs there, not because it paid. The only catch would be us stopping. If something is wrong, we correct it and name the source.
How many enquiries can I expect?
Honestly: we do not know precisely yet. The site is young; traffic and citations are growing. That is why everything is cancellable monthly with no setup fee; you leave the moment it disappoints, and the free listing stays anyway.
Do you guarantee ChatGPT will name me?
No, and nobody can; anyone promising that is selling air. What we do: measure, show who holds the position now, and give you the levers all three incumbents use. The monitor shows month by month whether it is working. That is the honest version of a guarantee.
Why only five extended listings per category?
Because a top position is worth nothing once everyone has one. Five is where the category stays readable and the place keeps its value. Full is full; then you go on a waiting list and we say so plainly.
Can I take the report first and the monitor later?
Yes. The one-off report is a standalone product with no obligation to continue. If you take the monitor within 30 days afterwards, half the report price is credited.
