What is in a scan

Every regime that applies to your lane. Sanctions and export-control angles, EUDR where the product touches it, CBAM if it is in scope, product safety (GPSR, REACH) where relevant, waste-shipment rules if your goods are one, and the duty/TARIC pointers that decide the landed cost.

The documents, in order. What each regime needs from you before the goods move, with the article numbers, so you can check us.

The counterparties screened. Up to three names you give us get a dated sanctions screening record, included — EUR 29 each if bought separately on /sanctions/.

The gaps, said plainly. A scan that hides what it could not establish is worthless. What we verified, what we assume, what you must decide: separated, dated.

Every claim carries its source and its date — the same discipline as the guide. This is a written assessment by people who trade these lanes, deliberately not legal advice; the final judgement stays yours.

What we need from you

Six fields below. The HS or CN code helps but is not required — if you do not have one, the scan says which heading is plausible and how to make that legally yours through a Binding Tariff Information.

Common questions

How is this different from the free product check?
The free check names the regimes that exist for a product category, in the browser, for nothing. The scan answers your lane in writing: this product, this origin, this destination, this question, with the documents and the order to do them in. The check stays free; the scan is the answer to the sentence after "it depends".
Is this legal advice?
No, and we will not pretend it is. It is a written assessment with the regulation, the article and the date behind every claim — enough to act on for most trading decisions, and exactly citable when you do ask a lawyer. Where a binding answer exists (a BTI, a ruling), the scan points you at it instead of improvising.
Why is a trading desk good at this?
Because these rules land on our own desk first. In September 2026 this desk received around a hundred inbound product offers and specification requests a day, measured by our own pipeline — sanctions clauses, EUDR files, CBAM figures and inspection terms we see in real deals, not in textbooks.
What if my question turns out bigger than a scan?
We scope before you pay. If a question needs more than one product/land combination, we say so in the confirmation and quote for the rest; you then decide. You are never surprised by an invoice for work you did not agree to.
When do I pay?
After delivery, like every product on this site — the invoice follows the PDF. EUR 295 excl. VAT for one product/land combination including up to three dated screening records. If we cannot answer your question, we say so and you owe nothing.
